How It Works
You Submit
Describe the records you want. No name, no email, no identity required. Just the facts.
We Deliver
Move Weight Foundation sends a formal Open Records Act request to the government on your behalf.
They Respond
The city responds to US โ not you. We post all responses publicly with your anonymous tracking ID.
Records Released
Responsive records are published here. If the city demands fees, the community can crowdfund the bounty.
Records received: Animal Control request
Updated 28 September 2026. Of the seven request forms in our compiled packet, these attachments address the Animal Control request, tracking ID ad40efc713323c4f. Both ZIP files contain a copy of that same request form.
- Received: an Animal Control staffing report, an overtime report, redacted incident reports, and redacted call-for-service cards.
- Redactions: the City Clerk's 28 September statement cites personal identifiers and juvenile information.
- Withheld: a separate refusal form lists 11 incident reports and says they are confidential under Oklahoma juvenile law. It does not identify a section of Title 10A or address whether any nonidentifying portion can be separated.
- Still unaccounted for in this packet: operating procedures, hours and after-hours protocols, Police coordination policies, the Animal Control budget, and shelter intake and outcome records. We are checking coverage of the requested incident date range.
What to expect: Oklahoma law generally protects juvenile law-enforcement records, so some withholding may be appropriate. The Open Records Act also provides for certain incident-log information and release of reasonably segregable nonexempt material. We will request a more specific explanation and ask what nonidentifying information, if any, can be supplied. We are not treating this partial response as fulfillment of the request or the other six forms.
See 10A O.S. § 2-6-102 and 51 O.S. §§ 24A.5 and 24A.8. We are reviewing the supplied PDFs for personal information before deciding what can be published safely.

What public records do you want?
Be as specific as possible โ include dates, names, departments, and document types. The more detail, the faster the response.
โ๏ธ Your Rights Under Oklahoma Law
The Oklahoma Open Records Act (51 O.S. ยง 24A.1 et seq.) guarantees public access to government records. You do NOT need to provide your name, address, or reason for requesting records. Government agencies must respond promptly and may only charge reasonable fees for document retrieval and copying. If a request is denied, the agency must cite the specific legal exemption.
๐ก๏ธ How We Protect You
Move Weight Foundation serves as the legal requester on all submissions. The government receives the request from our foundation โ not from you. We never collect or store your identity. The only thing we keep is the content of your request and a random tracking ID so you can follow its progress. If the city pushes back, our foundation handles it. If they demand fees, the community can crowdfund them. You stay anonymous through the entire process.
